Few schools teach negotiation. Fewer individual like to negotiate and most sales people are not good at it. Negotiation is not about closing. Closing is the act of finalizing the deal. Negotiation is a process we use to get what we want when someone has or controls something we want. If you want to make more money, you have to sell more and that means getting to 'yes' with a customer focused approach. And then you can close the deal. As Bill says if you want to earn more you have learn more!
